AffiliateWP – Tiered Rates 1.3

Tiered Affiliate Rates enable you to compensate your affiliates more effectively based on their earnings and/or the number of successful referrals they produce.
Once added, a new Tiered Rates section will appear in your AffiliateWP Settings. You may build as many levels as you want on this screen.

Tiers are divided into four categories:

• Type: is it a tier based on affiliate revenue or on referral count?
• The threshold is the minimum number of referrals or total earnings that an affiliate must achieve to qualify for the tiered rate.
• Affiliates are automatically assigned a rate when they reach a certain threshold.
• Whether the tier is enabled or deactivated, you may use the Tiered Rate Expiration option to reset tiered affiliate prices on the first day of each month.

You can simply create a commission rate tier using Tiered Affiliate Rates in the following manner:

0 – 100 referrals Equals a commission rate of 20%
101–200 referrals is a 25% commission rate.
201 – 500 referrals equates to a 30% commission rate.
501+ referrals is a 35% commission rate.

Or even one similar to this:

Affiliate earnings of $0 – $100 equal a 20% commission rate.
Affiliate earnings of $101 – $200 equal a 25% commission rate.
Affiliate earnings of $201 – $500 equal a 30% commission rate.
Affiliate earnings of $500 or more equal a 35 percent commission rate.

With Tiered Affiliate Rates, you can simply implement an incentive system in which affiliates earn increasing commissions as they recommend more clients.

It has been shown repeatedly that offering your affiliates incentives such as increased commission rates significantly improves their probability of actively promoting your goods and/or services.
